London Series Finale 5000M!

Posted: August 26, 2014 in Robert Brouillette

On Sunday July 13th 2014, I ran London Series Finale 5000M on the Western University TD Stadium track in London.
I apologize for my horrible procrastination due to me being busy for a number of reasons so instead to make my life easier I’ll highlight only the top 5 main points below from my race:
– This was my first real track race ever.
– Strong competition so wasn’t looking for win just some competition to maybe PB.
– I led for 3 laps comfortably but them got passed by 2 strong sub 16:00 runners.
– With 2 laps to go I got passed again so I finished in 4th place for my heat but 13th for the night.
– Cool down on grass inside of the track, watched last heat, high school guy won in sub 15:00 minutes.
